Community Links delivers projects promoting early diagnoses of cancer by increasing the uptake of the NHS Cancer screening programmes and raising awareness
The Early Action Task Force was established in 2011 as a group of leaders from across sectors committed to building a society that prevents problems from occurring rather than one that struggles with the consequences.
From our base in east London, we apply the learning from our local work to influence and achieve positive national change.
We are proud to have an excellent Advisory Committee, bringing a diversity of skills and experience to benefit Community Links.
She is delighted to be joining the Committee and hope to make a valuable contribution in meeting it’s strategic objectives and shaping future activities for the benefit of local residents.
Taura is currently volunteering on the Advice Team at Community Links and is also a Casework Volunteer at Advocate, the Bar's national charity, and is undergoing training to begin volunteering at Citizens Advice.
Lin has a keen interest in working to support individuals and communities to thrive and regards the advisory role as ‘pivotal to furthering Community Links aims through its progressive work in tackling social exclusion for East London communities.’
