Prior to being called to the Bar of England & Wales, Taura completed a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Central Lancashire and two Master of Laws at University College London (UCL) and City, University of London. While she is seeking pupillage in order to become a practising barrister, Taura is currently working as a County Court Advocate with LPC Law. Taura has engaged in various volunteering opportunities to sharpen her knowledge, including as a Trainee Adviser & Advocate on the Advice Team at Community Links, a Casework Volunteer at Advocate, the Bar’s national charity, underwent training at Citizens Advice, volunteered with BVL, a youth mobility charity, and on the Company Insolvency Pro Bono Scheme, which provides free advice and representation to company litigants-in-person.
