Getting into Employment

Our support and training opportunities for young people aged 16-24 can help you to find local jobs. We offer opportunities to develop skills and confidence, workshops and work placements with major businesses and provide counselling and job search activities. Some young people have enjoyed ongoing support from the businesses they visit, going on to get better jobs than they imagined! To find out if you can sign up for our Youth Employment Programme, contact Candy Buckler and see how we can help you into work.

Our Social Enterprise, Auction My Stuff, offers work placements and volunteering opportunities for young people. We use eBay to sell donated items and raise money for Community Links.  It's a chance to learn new skills, and get that all important experience for your CV. Auction My Stuff is based at Tate and Lyle in Silvertown and offers a friendly, interesting work environment. Contact Bettina Kabutz for more information..
