Community Links

Our 30th Anniversary

For 30 years, Community Links has been changing lives, giving support, hope and inspiration to thousands of individuals and families who, without us, face poverty and deprivation. With your help, we can do even more and do it better.

Be part of our story. We have a list of the best ways for people to support us and help us celebrate 30 years of making a difference. The great thing about working with us is that it is easy to see the results first hand. Our projects are practical, ‘real’ and, if you live in London, local!

To celebrate our 30th please consider…

Buy a 30th birthday gift

We have exciting ideas that we think will help Community Links make the biggest impact over the next few years. To celebrate our 30th anniversary we want to raise £1 million to buy 10 gifts for

our projects – to enhance our work

our people – to build confidence, skills and aspirations

our community – to support, strengthen and inspire

Please download our gift list here and let us know how you can help with one of the 30th birthday gifts. This might be through: A company, a Charitable Trust, personally, or by introducing us to someone you know. Contact Toni Theisinger, 020 7473 9682

Alternatively you could choose one of our other ways to help on our 30th birthday…

Make us your Charity of the Year

Get the whole company involved in raising funds to help us with our birthday gifts. Staff can volunteer to give their time and skills to make a bigger impact. Contact Anna Mothes, 020 7473 9649.

Give a personal gift

Make a monthly donation to support our Turn a Life Around appeal, or help unlock the future for generations to come by giving a major gift to our Opening Doors Appeal. As a key supporter you will be helping maintain and develop our mission. Contact Ian Robinson, 020 7473 9650.

Buy the Prime Minister’s book

We are delighted that proceeds from the sale will be donated to Community Links to continue our work. You can purchase ‘Britain’s Everyday Heroes’, full of stories about inspiring ordinary heroes, online at http://www.mainstreampublishing.com

Auction My Stuff

Your old stock or equipment could give an unemployed young person the chance to transform their life. Selling your stuff on eBay enables them to get the skills, experience and above all confidence for work. Through structured work and volunteer placements and intensive coaching, young people get the chance to regain control of their lives. We specialise in selling old stock, be it out of season, slow selling or even no longer needed equipment. If you have anything you’d like to donate, please call Chris Allwood, 020 7476 5928.
