Chevron Community Links Karting Challenge 2008
Engines roared, tyres squeaked, races were won….. and lost. The 2008 Community Links Karting Challenge took place on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 June at a brand new state-of the-art venue in North Greenwich. Over the two nights 24 teams from companies in Canary Wharf and the City raced for personal glory and the Community Links fundraising and racing trophies.
The 2008 Karting Challenge was once again sponsored by Chevron whose fantastic support made the event possible. Chevron also made sure the evening was a success by providing excellent branding, t-shirts and the all important entry forms! Including the sponsorship generously given by Chevron the evening raised £40,000 in pledged donations and the teams are already raring to go for next year!
