The British 10k London Run – Sunday 5th July 2009

The British 10K London Run is a vibrant event with a great atmosphere which follows an amazing route around London.

There are few opportunities to run past so many famous London landmarks on traffic free roads, unless you fancy running 20.2 miles further and doing the marathon!

The route starts at Hyde Park Corner and travels along Piccadilly past St James’s Palace on to Pall Mall and Trafalgar Square then on to Embankment where you will run up to Tower bridge and back passing Somerset House, St Pauls Cathedral, Tate Modern and the London Eye, before passing the Houses of Parliament and on to the home stretch on Whitehall – it’s not hard to see why this popular race has sold out for the last 3 years.

Taking on this challenge will help to raise funds for Community Links’ project work, which transforms lives in one of the poorest boroughs in the UK. We support thousands of children and adults in East London every year. You can help too, by raising £250 against your 10k run.

Contact Denise for an application form for one of our guaranteed places and receive a full fundraising pack, personalised running vest and the gratitude of Community Links!
