Outdoors in the City
The Brede Arkless Outdoors in the City Centre is a unique facility offering the thrills, challenges and excitement of the great outdoors in inner city Newham.
What can I do at Outdoors in the City?

What kind of events do you run?
We host events of all kinds, to suit everyone from corporate business teams to young families. Our expert instructors can host tailored team building days, birthday parties, personal development courses for young people, and more. We run sessions ranging from 90 minutes to a full day, and into the evening. Give us a ring (07818 590976) or email to find out more.
What else is at the site?
The centre includes an indoor training room, a small kitchen, WC and shower facilities, picnic and BBQ area, and is situated within Canning Town Recreation Ground so is surrounded by open access sports, games and recreation areas.
Will I be safe?
Of course, we take safety extremely seriously. The site, structures and equipment are fully certified, maintained, and regularly inspected, and the site is run by our qualified and enhanced CRB-checked staff.
Where is it?
Outdoors In The City is located at Canning Town Recreation Ground, Freemasons Road, Canning Town, London E16 3PY. The nearest tube station is Canning Town (10-15 minute walk) and the nearest DLR stop is Custom House (5-10 minute walk). The centre is located in the northwest corner. You will need to take the Freemasons Road entrance, then follow the path along and look out for the climbing tower!
