Making organisations' values real

We all like to think that a value-driven approach sets the Third Sector apart from profit-driven business, but in reality what matters is how we put these values into practice.

We have done significant research into the values of third sector organisations, as well as carefully examining our own.

We offer:

  • One day training: Our ‘make values live’ programme showing how values can be communicated, embedded in a charity’s work, and not eroded by powerful external constraints such as the need for funding.
  • Short Workshop: for Boards or staff (or both together) that supports participants to explore organisational values and how they are delivered. This workshop will provide a space to question and debate and will inspire participants to be bold.
  • Presentation for leaders: Our ‘values that push’ presentation is aimed at inspiring leaders to better examine the values of their organisation.
  • Consultancy: intensive work on values across an organisation.

All participants in the Values programme receive a copy of Community Links’ report Living Values.
