All funds raised will enable disadvantaged families the chance to have a proper Christmas, such as a Christmas lunch and gifts for the children.
The event takes place on Thursday 27th November, 7.30pm. Teams of up to 8 can join, with an entry fee of £60 per team. Winners receive a shiny trophy, wine and the glory of course! To enter your team, contact Jacky South or Kevin Jenkins.

Chain Reaction

Our national team, LinksUK have announced an exciting programme for our new initiative, Chain Reaction.
Chain Reaction is about connecting people together from around the world to work together on new ideas for social change. A dedicated website, www.chain-reaction.org, is now live and tickets to the first Chain Reaction event in November are available to purchase online. As well as the opportunity to buy tickets, there is a forum for sharing ideas.

Chain Reaction is about connecting people together from around the world to work together on new ideas for social change. Chain Reaction is about one talent, experience or idea unlocking another, creating massive energy in a chain. Our individual actions multiplied by millions of others are a driving force for change. If our individual actions are reflected by those of organisations and businesses, and supported by governments, then, together, we have the power to change the world.
500 people, two days, one big tent... We are developing an exciting programme for the first Chain Reaction that will enable participants to connect, collaborate and commit, and will result in at least 25 new networks, practical ideas for action or new ways of working. Book your tickets today! www.chain-reaction.org

On each night 16 teams of 6 drivers will compete in a 2 hour team endurance race, with driver change every 10 minutes. Drivers should be aged over 18, female or male. This is a challenging race, but no karting experience is required, as the brief beforehand will teach you all you need to know.

Your sponsorship drive ensures we are able to maintain our work with disadvantaged families in the most deprived areas of East London. It really does make the difference. To enter the Karting Challenge teams agree to raise a minimum of £700, which can be covered by drivers and/or sponsorship, and the total sponsorship money needs to be submitted on the race night in order to compete. We hope that with our support your team will raise far beyond the minimum. Once you’ve registered we’ll send you a drivers pack with sponsorship help.
Generous backing by Chevron means the cost of your drive is covered and the funds you raise will go straight to Community Links, making a difference long after the chequered flag comes down. Sign up your team now and help make the 13th Chevron Community Links Karting Challenge our best yet!
