Projects
Community Links’ national projects share our local learning with the rest of the country.
Chain Reaction brings together people from government, business and charity to share new ideas for social change. Its opening conference in 2008 attracted over 1000 people and was addressed by Prime Minister Gordon Brown
2010 is the European Year Against Poverty, and Community Links are running a project tackling working age poverty, along with our partner Church Action on Poverty.
We have been researching the informal economy, in Newham and nationally, for almost 10 years, and are the most experienced charity working in this area.
And projects in the recent past have included leading the Prime Minister’s Council on Social Action, and an influential study into values in the Third Sector.
