FRE Flyers sports club launch
The Great Britain Hockey squad joined Community Links' young sports stars to launch Newham's newest sports club this week. The club is the next step in a remarkable journey that began last year when 30 young people from Community Links met with the players of the GB men's hockey squad for the first of several joint training sessions. Three hundred young people and supporters packed Stratford Circus on 29th March to share the results of nine months activities to prevent gun and knife crime in Newham. Michael was for more than twenty years a partner in Clifford Chance, the leading city law firm that has supported Community Links for many years.
