Virgin London Marathon 2012: Join the Community Links team!
The London Marathon is the largest race of its kind in the world, with 30,000 runners from all over the world taking part every year. It is a hugely popular event, and this year, applications for ballot places closed in record time - with the ballot results due to be announced very shortly in early October. Peace through football
Young people from across Newham took part in a football tournament as part of Peace One Day, the campaign for a global day of peace. The tournament, organised by Community Links and held at Newham Leisure Centre, involved 5 teams and over 50 young people from across the borough. Get adventurous this summer at Outdoors in the City - our summer programme for young people and families includings climbing, abseiling, high ropes, zip wires, and much more.
