Our Specialist Services
As well as a wide range of local services open to the community, we also run specialist projects on a referral basis only.
Second Chance at Education
We have provided alternative education for young people excluded from school since 1978. All students attend the programme full time. Some return to mainstream education. Others take their exams at a Community Links centre. The programme enjoys high levels of achievement through awards, AQAs and students going on to Further Education.
We work with schools in Newham and neighbouring boroughs. If you would like to talk to us about referring young people to our Education programme, please contact Carol Jackson.
Crime Diversion
For young people at risk of becoming involved in crime, we offer a range of positive and inclusive activities. At the heart of these is team work but we also develop individual skills and confidence to help everyone reach their full potential.
