Money management workshops

Money management workshops

Community Links offers free money management workshops to groups of adults, young people or children. Sponsored by Barclays, the workshops deal with budgeting, debt, and savings, and aim to encourage people to think about how they spend money, how to stay out of debt, and what the advantages are of saving. The workshops aim to make people more aware of brands and price comparisons, of ways of making the most of their money, of dealing with debt, and of different ways to save money.

The workshops can be adjusted as necessary to be longer or shorter, more or less participative. We deliver them wherever community groups meet, and we would usually run the session for one to one and a half hours. We award attendance certificates to everyone who takes part in our workshops, and also offer confidential debt counselling at Community Links.
