local services what we offer

Newham City Farm

Visit Blaze the Shire horse, taste the honey made in our beehives, and buy some fresh farm eggs when you come down to the farm. We're here all year round - meet piglets in the spring or come cart riding in the summer - and it's free to come in.

When you visit remember it's a farm so wear clothes and shoes that keep you warm and dry, and that you don't mind getting a bit muddy.

Schools and other groups are always welcome, and we've got loads of ways to support your visit. Get in touch to find out more.

Opening hours:

Summer: Tuesday - Sunday, 10am - 5pm
Winter: Tuesday - Sunday, 10am - 4pm
Closed Mondays, except bank holidays.

What's there?

Most importantly, there are a lot of animals - we have everything from a huge Shire Horse to tiny birds. We have cows, sheep, alpacas, goats, chickens, rabbits, fish, a peacock, even an owl.

But if you're getting bored of the animals there's also a cafe, an orchard, a children's play area, a picnic area, and the opportunity to buy fresh eggs, honey and even manure.
