Raising Aspirations of Children and Young People in Hackney
Community Links was asked by the London Borough of Hackney’s Children and Young People Scrutiny Commission to train and support members of the Hackney Youth Parliament to conduct research that would help increase understanding about the aspirations of local children and young people, and the aspriations that parents and carers have for their children; secondly to examine the current barriers preventing children and young people achieve their aspirations; and thirdly to develop a sense of how these might be overcome.
