Running Events
Running is great for fitness and for fun. It's free and easy too. All you need is a good pair of running shoes and the will to get going. Take on a run for Community Links to help people out of poverty and we'll support your with a fundraising pack and T-shirt. You can request one our places in the events below, or you can pick your own run and tell us about it and we'll send you a fundraising pack and T-shirt - Just email emma.taylor@community-links.org
The Wanstead Flats 5km Run - 11am 5 April 2010
Location: Aldersbrook Road, Wanstead Flats Playing Fields, E12 5HH
Registration Fee: £11.50 adults £4.50 children 11-16yrs

Distance: 5km adults and 3km children

Santa Run - 10am Sunday 5th December 2010

Join the festive extravaganza in the Santa Fun Run and help raise funds for Community Links Christmas Appeal. The run will take place at Greenwich Park just a few miles from the centre of London. Greenwich Park is one of the largest parks in the London area and is a wonderful setting for your 5km run! No previous experience is required for this event and with a bit of training the 5km distance should easily be within your capabilities. The spirit of the event is 'taking part' not 'winning' so you can run, jog or walk - you decide!
