Running Events
Running is great for fitness and for fun. It's free and easy too. All you need is a good pair of running shoes and the will to get going.
Take on a run for Community Links to help people out of poverty and we'll support your challenge all the way, starting with a fundraising pack and T-shirt. You can request one of our places in the events below, or you can pick your own run and tell us about it.

Run to the Beat 26 September 2010

12,000 runners take on this half marathon set to music. Starting and finishing at the 02 Arena this 13 mile run through historic Greenwich has brilliant beats and live bands to help power your run. Community Links have a limited number of charity places so claim yours now for this very popular event! Santa Run - 10am Sunday 5th December 2010
Location: London, Greenwich Park

Distance: 5km
Join the festive extravaganza in the Santa Fun Run and help raise funds for Community Links Christmas Appeal. The run will take place at Greenwich Park just a few miles from the centre of London. Greenwich Park is one of the largest parks in the London area and is a wonderful setting for your 5km run! No previous experience is required for this event and with a bit of training the 5km distance should easily be within your capabilities. The spirit of the event is 'taking part' not 'winning' so you can run, jog or walk - you decide!
