June 2007 - Community Links launches training programme for civil servants.

We are have developed, in partnership with the National School of Government, a new training programme that will introduce civil servants to the Community Links approach to leadership. Working alongside local residents and service users, participants will develop their understanding of how national policy plays out at local level, undertake an investigation into the local delivery of public services and develop ideas for service innovation.

Over 20 volunteers from iMPOWER joined forces with several members of Community Links staff and a group of 5 young people to conduct a research project in Stratford.
